Bid for lunch with big bull Jhunjhunwala
New Delhi: Want to have lunch with well known investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala? All you need to do is log on to online marketplace eBay India and start bidding.
The auction for having a lunch date with Jhunjhunwala starts at Rs 1,001. The proceeds would be used for charity purposes, eBay India said in a statement.
The bidding, which began yesterday, would end on November 2.
All proceeds of the auction will go to non-profit organisation Children's Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA).
For the lunch session with Jhunjhunwala, who is also known as India's Warren Buffett, the winner can invite up to nine people.
Meanwhile, eBay every year conducts charity auction for a lunch with Warren Buffett, one of the richest people in the world. The annual auction attracts hundreds of bids and the proceeds are utilised for charity purposes.
"I am delighted to offer my time and investment advice to the highest bidder as all the proceeds from the auction will be used for a noble cause. I will spend quality time with the winner who bids generously and provide him/her with insightful investment guidance," Jhunjhunwala said.
He owns asset management firm, Rare Enterprises, through which he also manages his own portfolio.
Individuals can use this opportunity to interact and get an insight into Jhunjhunwala's mindset when he looks at making an investment, the statement said.
